Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems

Over the last few years, the sphere of medium and high power multisplit systems has seen the rapid expansion of VRF (variable refrigerant flow) technology. We refer to the now well-known inverter multisplit systems that have been used in numerous applications thanks to the large number of indoor units that can be installed.
The market for VRF multisplit systems is constantly growing and research has made great strides in finding increasingly reliable and efficient solutions. The most recent technological advancement is represented by the Copeland Digital Scroll compressor. This technology, employed in Aermec MDS (Multi Digital Scroll) units.
A higher level of comfort is achieved by an innovative system to control the refrigeration cycle. Thanks to a new generation compressor and to a regulating valve, the pressure, inside the refrigeration circuit, is modulated according to the demand of the indoor units. The cooling capacity of the new MDS systems ranges from 10% to 100%.
