The new CONNECTDEC Compacdec flexible connectors from DEC International
In practice, duct connections often aren’t perfect; angles deviate and distances have to be bridged and in addition to this, the male/female connections aren’t always a perfect match. All these problems cause a lot of irritation. The new CONNECTDEC Compacdec flexible connectors from DEC International are the ideal solution to this problem because their strong, flexible construction makes all sorts of connections possible whether they are in lead, at an angle or if a ‘awkward’ distance has to be bridged. Something that could take hours using rigid ducts is finished in no time at all using these connectors. The connectors simplify installation and save a lot of time and material costs.

The CONNECTDEC Compacdec type of connectors have a durable, profiled, multi-layer aluminium construction and the special lockseam provides a very high degree of airtightness and great flexibility. The connections also have further advantages. They actually have standardised, airtight connections on both sides which comply with EN1506. Because you can choose from male/male, male/female or female/female there is always a suitable solution. As far as the connectors are concerned you can choose from 0.5, 1 and 1.5 m lengths with bores of 80 – 315 mm. In addition, the wide temperature range tolerance from – 30 to + 25ºC make them very adaptable and suitable for use in HVAC installations, mechanical air treatment systems, industrial extraction systems and in situations where considerable mechanical strength is required.
